Arvod is being updated with a new gallery each week, on average. More or less. Sometimes it's sooner, sometimes later. The site went live in April 2016. Possibly to begin with we were trying to put up new galleries as fast as we could, because the site started more or less empty. And possibly more recently we've slowed down a bit. It's highly labour intensive and inevitably takes time. But there are other things to do. Organising and planning shoots, for instance. So recently we diverted our attention from preparing and publishing content to organise a shoot with young Miss Pixiee Little. So much negotiation with so many people. In the old days we had a revolutionary device called the telephone. This enabled people to have discussions in real time without actually meeting. In today's world of 'technology' telephones have changed to become cameras, movie edit suites, record players, and devices for announcing to the whole world that you've just visited the lavatory or whatever. In the white heat of today's technology we have e-mail, and SMS, and DMs, and IMs, and twitter, and facebook, and google. The result is that what once could have been accomplished in a morning now takes a week of bloody typing and messaging at crossed purposes. Nevertheless last week we successfully managed to photograph Pixiee spreading herself indecorously for the digi-camera. She's the young lady in the header image. A gallery or video will be going live soon. Then there's the actual functioning of the website. Recently we had an issue with zip downloads not completing. The cause seemed to be to do with php script execution time. And after a couple of days of wrestling with the mind-bending crazy code and stuff we eventually arrived at a fix. However if any member experiences any problem downloading zip files, please let us know using the contact form. From the 1st of July, we were planning to end our opening offer of two months for the price of one. However we have been distracted with shoots and code and stuff and the 1st of July passed without our implementing this change. So the good news is, we've decided to leave things as they are for the moment. That's 9 euros for 2 months. For technical reasons 9 euros is the smallest payment we can process. We are committed to keeping the site affordable. We realise that other sites are generally more expensive, but at the same time we recognise, though our content is growing, many other sites have much greater quatities. We are still actively considering subscription models and we may change the payment model or introduce different options in the future. If anyone wants to discuss this, make a suggestion do please contact us.
